HUD, Ginnie Mae, and FHA Inactive Obligations

We are initiating an audit of HUD’s (HUD proper, Ginnie Mae, FHA) inactive obligations. The objective of our audit is to identify and evaluate HUD’s inactive obligations to determine if they are still needed for the purposes intended, and if not, assess gaps in controls that prevented earlier deobligation.
